How much does the repair cost?
Prices range from $79.99 (USD) to a maximum of $89.99 (USD) for mail-in repairs, which includes all parts and labor. Most repairs are $79.99 or $89.99 (for DVD drive issues). All repairs come with a 90 DAY WARRANTY!
We also offer a rush repair service for local Miami Customers for a flat fee (please call for pricing and availability).
Should I send power cords, A/V cables, controllers, hard drive, etc?
You only need to send the console. Please do not include any games or accessories, such as controllers, cables, or the hard drive.
What are the steps to get a repair?
1. Simply Call 888.267.3850 to receive shipping instructions, and drop off at your nearest FedEx / DHL / UPS dropoff location.
2. We will perform a free advanced diagnosis shortly after your PlayStation is delivered to our location (typically within just a few hours). You will receive an e-mail detailing the results of our advanced diagnostic, as well as a repair estimate.
3. Once you approve of the repair estimate, our technicians perform any repairs necessary, including any that may not have been found during the advanced diagnosis.
4. Upon completion of the repair, you will receive another e-mail, and your PlayStation is brought to a test area to undergo extended testing.
5. After extensive testing is completed, our shipping department carefully packages your PlayStation and notifies the shipping carrier that the box is ready for pickup. You will receive an automatic e-mail with tracking information.
What if you can't repair my PlayStation?
We are able to successfully repair over 95% of the PlayStation repair orders that we receive. In the rare event that your console is unrepairable, you have the option of either receiving a refund for the repair price, or using the repair price as a credit towards a heavily discounted replacement console.
Will I lose all of my game saves and other data?
Unless your problem is related to a faulty memory card or hard drive, you will not lose any of your saved games, profiles, or other information.
